Week 1Lesson 1Drawing the BirdWe will use simple lines and shapes to draw the outline of the bird, branch and leaves. We will use different patterns to decorate our birds. Then we will outline our birds with a Sharpie.Week 2Lesson 2Finishing the ArtWe will finish any drawing, color the bird, paint the background, and share our creations! Learners can upload drawings of their art in the classroom.
As a licensed art teacher, I have developed techniques for breaking down drawing lessons into simple, easy-to-follow steps. Once we get the basics done, I give my students freedom to complete their project using their own imagination, thereby giving them the opportunity to take what I have taught them to a different, fun and creative level.

Not required, but students are welcome and encouraged to work on assignments and practice further between class sessions.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
