Average rating:5.0Number of reviews:(185)
In this one time course, students will learn how to make a hot chocolate bomb and decorate it to look like a snowman!

Class experience

Students will learn to follow step-by-step instructions on how to make hot chocolate bombs. By the end of the class, students will have created 6 hot chocolate bombs. Time may vary for each student.
A one page recipe will be sent to learners 24 hours before class starts

Please have the follow supplies in order to complete the class

1. One bag of white chocolate candy melts
2. 1 cup of brown candy melts
3. 1/2 a cup of orange candy melts, or orange food coloring (Or be as creative as you want, we need a bit of orange to make the carrot nose)
*Note: I recommend using MERCKENS chocolate because it is so easy to melt. I will put a link at the bottom where you can purchase from Amazon, but I'm sure that most local supermarket will have them at a cheaper price

4. Hot chocolate powder of your choice (Nestle, Milo, Hersey's)
5. Small or tiny marshmallows. (The smaller, the more you can fit inside the chocolate bomb)

1. Silicone half ball mold x 2 (Can purchase from Walmart, Amazon or Michael's. It is recommended to get a soft silicone mold so that it is easy for the chocolate to come out) Please purchase either the 2 inch (regular sized, can fit in all mugs) or 2.5 inch mold (large ball, fits in bigger mugs just like in my video).

**IMPORTANT NOTE** Please try to order the molds ahead of time. A few parents have mentioned that it took a few days to arrive and was concerned the molds would not show up in time for class.

2. Three microwaveable bowls
3. Silicone spatula
4. Ziplock bag / Piping bag
5. Small spoon
6. A wooden chopstick (Or something similar to make the snowman's face)
7. Saran wrap / Parchment paper
8. Cupcake liners
9. A clean paintbrush
10. A pan (we will be heating the pan to help seal the chocolate spheres)
Students will be using the microwave to melt the chocolate as well as warm up a pan / skillet on the stove to seal the chocolate. Please have a parent nearby in case assistance is needed.
