In this one time class, learners will learn all about the nickel! Learners will start by identifying the coin and talking about the characteristics of the nickel. After learners have identified the coin, we will learn how to count a group of nickels. While learning how to count nickels, learners will also learn how to write the amount the nickels is showing. We will play a matching game before learners are asked to draw the amount to match a given coin amount on their nickel worksheet...
Learners will be able to identify the nickel and how to count nickels.
-pencil -a nickel sheet will be provided with nickels clipart for learners to print if they would like to have a manipulative -nickels worksheet will be provided when learners register
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
