Class Experience

Firefox, cat bear, wah - the red panda has earned many nicknames over the years but the most accurate is probably "original panda". That's because, in 1825, this animal became the first to be called a panda. Let's learn more about them together!

In this class, we will discuss:

- Where red pandas are found
- How red pandas got their name
- What adaptations red pandas have
- What threats red pandas face
- What we can do to save them

Learners will be introduced to these zoology topics via an interactive lecture featuring Google Slides, Photos, Videos, and personal stories from my time working directly with red pandas in my career.
