Description

Class Experience

In this class, we will cover the first part of first grade curriculum.  This class follows common core standards to ensure all essential first grade skills are covered. Semester 1 focuses primarily on fiction text skills as well as opinion and narrative writing.  We will cover basic parts of grammas as well as sentence structure and skills needed to write in complete sentences.  Each skill will be introduced and covered in class with optional worksheets to continue focusing on weekly skills...

optional follow up homework will be provided for skill practice at home

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

Progress report is available upon request

1 hour 30 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
