Description
Class Experience
Learners will learn 8 weeks worth of core curriculum skills including reading comprehension, spelling, punctuation, number and place value, science including animals, plants and living things.
Children may be given optional extra tasks to be completed outside of the lesson and be posted into the classroom.
Any paper resources given and asked to be printed. Experiment resources such as skittles, seeds, soil, beans, paint - will be explained in detail ahead of time to prepare.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Informal assessment and messages to parents at the end of the course.
2 hours 15 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
Some parental support may be required when using materials for experiments. Details will be given ahead of class.
