In this one-time class, learners will be introduced to each color word.The teacher will read the story, "Bear Sees Colors," by Karma Wilson, and throughout the reading, learners will be encouraged to locate objects of various colors on each page. Students will work together to count and identify objects of the target color throughout the story. Learners will be encouraged to share their favorite color with the class. Students will demonstrate their knowledge as they complete the fun color activity handout. We will conclude class singing a color word song. This will be an engaging class that includes discussion, active listening, singing, and coloring.

Students will identify objects of each color: red, yellow, green, orange and blue

Supply List
A one-page handout will be available prior to class. Learners will also need crayons or color pencils.
