By the end of this level 1 series, students will -Know how to use the online interactive Codesters platform to complete projects using Python. -Understand what is the coordinate plane and ordered pairs and how they are used in coding. -Locate points on the coordinate plane by looking at a picture. -Understand what the Python coding language is used for. -Have a bsic understanding on how script coding is used to animate objects in Python.
Homework Offered
Students will be expected to spend 1-2 hours each week completing each lesson and project.Assessments Offered
Informal assessments will be made and feedback will be provided on a weekly basis.Grades Offered
Grades can be provided upon request.
Students will need to have two devices for this class. One of the devices must be a computer or 💻 laptop will be used for coding. The other device can be a phone or tablet which will be used to access the class on Outschool.
In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Students will need parental guidance to setup their device for coding and for accessing our class on Outschool before our first class. The free Code Parental guidance: Codesters account will be setup by the teacher upon registration in this class.
We will use an interactive online curriculum. Students will receive their user name and password during our first class.
