Class Experience

US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 2
Topics will be discussed and students will be encouraged to share their ideas. We will be learning:
- How clouds are formed by looking at the Properties of Water and the Water Cycle
- The three main cloud formations
- How theses cloud formations can predict weather.
We will use cotton balls to make a craft to reinforce what we've learned about cloud structures and we may try singing a silly song.
Bugzy, our classroom rabbit (puppet), will visit us in class. He has a riddle or two to share with everyone about weather.
Learning Goals
Listening and interpreting skills will be practiced as students replicate the three main cloud structures on their paper with cotton balls.

Teacher expertise and credentials
*I have been diagnosed with cancer and will not be taking enrolments at this time.

I am an Early Education Teacher of 20 years and informal ESL Teacher. I strive to make lessons engaging and interactive. My experience teaching both in Canada and overseas has allowed me to see diverse classrooms and teaching situations. I homeschooled my own kids and know that it can be a challenge to schedule in everybody’s academic and social needs while giving them opportunity to develop their own unique talents. My three kids are grown now. One is working in the film industry, another is studying nursing and another is working in recreational sports. I want to support families, like you, who are learning at home.

When I’m not teaching I enjoy working in the garden and growing my own food.
Bye! I’m off to the garden! See you next time!
