In this 4 week course, students will learn the basics of the clarinet on their own! Students will view weekly tutorials provided by the instructor, complete a guided assignment and receive feedback to improve on their learning.

Class Experience

Monday:
Videos will be posted by 8:00amEST on Monday of every week through the Outschool portal via e-mail.
Videos will consist of the instructor introducing the topic for the week.  

Wednesday:
Assignments will need to be submitted by Wednesday 8:00am EST of that week..
Assignments will be submitted through flipgrid.com or video to the instructor's e-mail.

Students will have a performance example and a theory assignment based on the week's lesson.

This class is taught in English.

I have over 20 years experience teaching public school and private lessons. I have a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the Crane School of Music (SUNY Potsdam), and a Master of Music degree in Music Education  from the University of Illinois, Urbana- Champaign.
 I am currently a 7/8th grade instrumental music teacher in New York State.

Standard of Excellence, Book 1 for B-flat clarinet
