Description
Class Experience
Learners will be able to practice the following: -Greetings -Following simple class directions (“stand up”, “go find _____"). -Shape awareness -Simple turn-taking skills -Listening skills -Story comprehension -Vocabulary
We will be reading "Mouse Shapes" by Ellen Stoll Walsh
If we are not able to complete the simple art activity at the end of class, you will be able to print it out to complete at a later time if you wish. :)
1 file available upon enrollment**If you have any shape toys (e.g.: magnetic tiles, wooden blocks, wooden beads, etc), feel free to bring them to class *A printable handout will be provided prior to class -- we will probably not complete this as a group during class time, but feel free to print and bring it to class if your child would like to color during class time. *We will be doing a shape scavenger hunt -- so please have a few items of a variety of shapes nearby (a circle - orange, a square - block, a rectangle - book, etc)
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Since this class is intended for young learners, it is recommended that the parent is nearby while the child is taking class.
