Chickens and Peafowl Interactions for Ages 3-6
This one time session invites 3-6 year olds into the chicken coop to observe chickens and a rooster to see a variety of colors and shapes including at least one crested and several feather footed, counting eggs, and watching the peacock.

This is a fun experience for children to see chickens in a habitat where the live and sleep. The chickens on my homestead are rare breeds and a few mixed rare breeds showing different colors, shapes, and feather features including at least one crested. Students will observe livestock animals that provide eggs for people to eat. In their habitat, they will observe different colors and shapes of chickens and a rooster that are mostly from a rare breed hatchery.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
