Business Math for Teens is a course that is the same as my other Business Math Class except that you can complete it faster with two meetings a week in one Semester. This course is designed to introduce teens aged 13 to 18 to the practical mathematics and concepts that are fundamental to making informed financial decisions and thriving in the business world or "real-life". We will cover everything from foundational math concepts to understanding the principles of entrepreneurship and personal finance. Your teen will learn how to handle income and expenses, budget effectively, and even delve into the world of banking and taxes. We will practice math problems in each class. Each class will focus on math lessons pertaining to the topics. Business Math for Teens is designed to introduce young learners aged 13 to 18 to essential mathematical concepts and skills applicable to real-world scenarios. This course will equip students with the knowledge and problem-solving abilities needed to make informed financial decisions, understand the basics of entrepreneurship, and excel in various business-related fields. Each class will consist of a short lecture, discussion, practicing skills through instructor-led modeling, student practice, and in-class feedback that pushes students to apply their learning in a safe and positive learning environment. This is a full-year course. That builds content. At times we will add in a fun assessment game through Kahoot.
