Teacher expertise and credentials
The first building block to learning is acquiring information and helping students understand the process of identifying and evaluating information is critical to that process and their future as a lifelong learner. If a person can learn how to access and review quality information, then they can learn anything at anytime without limitations.
My expertise as an Information Literacy librarian prepares me to teach this topic to learners of all ages. Including hands on search opportunities during class time with immediate feedback for learners make each class session a learning moment that can be immediately implemented in other areas of study.
