So many parents worry about how they will afford college for their students. After taking this 55 minute informative class, your child will learn MANY techniques on how to search and hopefully obtain scholarships, grants and additional monies to pay for college. (NO GUARANTEES) Students will take notes on the various ways to find the hundreds of thousands of scholarships out there and learn about government money to possibly help, as well as grants. Learners will also learn about agencies that assist those with disabilities to obtain college assistance and financial help. Learners will learn which scholarships are easier to obtain and which are more competitive. I have achieved success with my own children getting a multitude of scholarships and other financial assistance, as well as students that I have worked with as a high school teacher and through my college planning business. Homeschoolers are welcome!

I own my own college planning business. I have seminars (see my Outschool page for these) and I do one-on-one consultations for future college students. I help with essay writing, as I am a published author and credentialed teacher. I have taught all ages, 6 months to adults and every age in between. I taught elementary school and taught middle and high school American Sign Language (see my other classes on Outschool, on my page). I always incorporate college planning in my high school ASL classes to assist students.(Great way to learn more signs.) Many made appointments for help during my office hours for college assistance. So many students have told me I taught them more than their high school college prep counselor! I learned so much about getting prepared for college for my own two children that many friends said that I needed to start a business, as I knew more than anyone else they spoke to regarding the college maze. My children are now successful college grads!
