In this 4 day class, students will about composition and how to use their own cameras. They will have hands-on opportunities in class to learn use their cameras and practice skills.

A camera is required for this class. Those that work are: - a point and shoot -a phone camera -a DSLR - any camera really! Be sure their camera's battery is fully charged for each class and it's ready to go! We will be taking pictures during class! Each class will be: - 20 minutes learning composition or camera skills - 15 minutes taking pictures My teaching style is to teach with instructional slides and then get feedback from the students to see if there's any questions. The goal of this class is to learn about how to take a good photo through composition and settings on their cameras, such as shooting modes and focus.
The class requires some online and camera work, so it would be best if a parent is present to assist or be nearby to keep your child safe online.
Homework Offered
Photos will be taken during class, so taking them in between is welcome and can be uploaded to the classroom for feedback.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
