What's included

1 live meeting
1 hrs 30 mins in-class hours per week
Assessment
Creativity is a very personalized process, I encourage my students to take "Progress photos" so that when done, they can look back at how they transformed a black canvas into a painting. These photos are a great visual documentation of their learning. In a year or 5 years, they can look back at their photos and realize how far their skills have come. Thus boosting their morale/ self-esteem to do more creative things.

Class Experience

This ongoing subscription art club allows students to explore simplified iconic painting projects in a low-pressure, student-centered environment. Each week students will complete a different painting with step-by-step teacher guidance. Students are encouraged to add their own unique flair to each project through color choices and other project variations.

No previous painting experience is required. This painting club will offer step-by-step options.

This weekly class is 90 mins.
For the demonstrations, Lovejoy will utilize a "screen share" slideshow and pre-recorded video to demonstrate the steps. The slideshow is a file on canva or google drive. (Students are not directed to any outside sources)
Please upload your final painting photo to this class and inspire others to join the class

The first 15 minutes of class will be drawing the line drawing to start, simple shapes and lines (pencil)
Then the remaining class will be step by step to complete the painting (acrylic or water color paint)
Students are allowed to change colors or add their own personal touches to the painting if they choose
