Latin is one of the most important, enduring languages of the ancient world. In this four-week course, you continue learning the language of Caesar! Ms. Bender holds a BA in Historical Studies from Stockton University, where she studied Latin as her chosen language, and MA in Egyptology from the University of Toronto. She knows how to make things fun while facilitating learning in her unique, personalized style.
Students will be expected to make flash cards for all new vocabulary and complete translation assignments. Homework policy will be discussed in class.

For those interested in a fantastic interactive digital version of our books, one can purchase a relatively inexpensive subscription (about $13 for the year) to Cambridge Elevate, which will give access to all of the books in the series, plus additional material. Purchasing a hard copy of the textbook is recommended for for students who are not tech-savvy (used is perfectly fine, edition doesn't matter very much). The text we use is the Cambridge Latin Course Unit One
