1-2 hours per week. They will be given small assignments each week such as to listen to a tape that they will be sent and to repeat as much as possible so they can come to class the next week with confidence about the last week's lesson.Assessment
I will give the students informal assessments each week.Class Experience
We will be learning the basics of French language. Week one we will learn greetings. Week two we will learn the numbers 1-10 and calendar, months of the year and days of the week. Week three will be how to tell time on a rotary clock. This will include having learned the numbers from 0-60. Week four will be about colors and clothing. They will tell me what they are wearing. Week five we will talk about school and objects in schools. Week six we will explore French Cuisine. Week seven we will talk about things they like to do. Week 8 we will put all of our knowledge together. I have an easy going teaching style. I will use objects from my house and worksheets to teach the language. We will play games, use video clips and speak together. No previous knowledge is required. The learners will not be muted it their house makes it possible. They are able to ask questions in class and during the week as I hope they will be practicing. We will be playing games, using slides, video clips and having discussions each class. The students will be speaking with the teacher and with each other in French. This should be a fun class for the learners and develop a life long desire to speak French.

Students will learn the basics of the French language with speaking being the most important concept.

The parents may monitor their homework and encourage their learning.
Supply List
I will be providing worksheets each week. It would be beneficial for the students to print these and have them in class.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
