Class Experience
In this class we will be discovering and experimenting with all of the elements of art such as line, form, color, texture, shape, and space by creating a one point perspective drawing. One point perspective is a drawing method that shows how things appear to get smaller as they get further away, converging towards a single 'vanishing point' on the horizon line. It is a way of drawing objects upon a flat piece of paper (or other drawing surface) so that they look three-dimensional and...
Students will improve their understanding of the elements of art by creating a one point perspective desert scene.
Students will need paper, a pencil, eraser, ruler, and something to color with.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
