Starting and continuing creative works, such as stories, poetry, and creative essays, can be a challenging task, especially for new writers. This ongoing workshop will help students to continue to grow their confidence and skills.
Class experience
Writing stories, poems, essays, and other works is not always as easy as it seems. Even experienced writers get writer’s block or have trouble in starting a new piece. For newer authors sometimes these blocks feel permanent. Building on the basics that are also taught in my one-time class Beating Writer's Block and Other Blocks, in this ongoing workshop learners are going to play with words, put ideas together in amusing ways, complete exercises, and bring writing into a format that is easy...
