US Grade Pre-Kindergarten - 1
In this one time course we will be learning about bats in their natural habitat. Learners will discover where they live, what they eat, when they sleep and much more. Bats are not only active in the fall and we are going to find out where they hide! Have your learner join me in this batty adventure to the deep dark caves and high tree tops to find these upside down creatures. This lesson will be presented through a PowerPoint for pictures, and is discussion based. We will end the class with an open ended art activity!

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
