This is an ongoing course, that will meet once a week. Each week we will be learning about a different artist. We will gain knowledge about their lives, interests, jobs, pieces of art they have created, and even techniques. There will be a wide range of artists! As in all my classes, they are discussion based and taught through a PowerPoint for photos and prompts. Students are encouraged to have fun and ask questions. Each class we will save some time to create some art with our artist of the week in mind.

Hello everyone! My name is Ashley, I live in the United States, throughout the last 12 years I have been a preschool teacher, after-school program director and a general manager. I built my way up in the same company and have worn many hats. I have in depth experience working with children of all ages. In 2011, I received my bachelors degree in human development and Human Resources with a concentration in Early Childhood Education. More recently, since 2020, I have been teaching on Outschool. This has been my favorite position yet!! What I love about education and teaching children is the connection that I am able to form with them. I want children to feel comfortable and have fun learning. Aside from teaching, I have two children of my very own who I homeschool.
