1 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this class, students will learn about the engine cooling system in vehicles. They will learn what parts, and fluid, are involved in the cooling system. They will learn how to know which fluid they need for their vehicle. They will learn how the system works. Most of this class will be in the form of a PowerPoint presentation. After the PowerPoint presentation, I will point out the visible parts of the cooling system on my car. I will show them where to find the coolant reservoir and how to make sure that they have enough coolant. As the class progresses, I will ask the students questions to check for understanding and to ensure that they are involved in the class.

Teacher expertise and credentials
I have a bachelor's degree in Automotive Engineering. During the journey of earning my degree, I loved my hands-on automotive classes.
I love working with my hands! After I graduated with my bachelor's degree, I worked as an electrical engineer technician. I built and tested electrical panels for automated welding systems. It was fun to watch the systems come together and, in the end, turn them on and watch them run properly!
I have spent many hours taking care of vehicles for my family and friends. If I don't know exactly how to accomplish a task, I do the research needed to figure it out. It is a wonderful feeling to accomplish a task that helps those you love.
I learn best through experience. I don't just want to hear how to do something, I want to see it. I have also found that if I have to think about something before I am given the answer, I tend to remember it better. So, I try to incorporate both of those principals into my teaching as much as possible.
