Class Experience

This group is a welcoming social space for all teens on the autism spectrum (no diagnosis needed) to chat and hang out with other autistic teens, who are more likely to communicate in similar ways to you.

Most of the time we talk and chat about things we are interested in, or stuff going on in our lives (only as much as you want to). I help support the conversation by keeping things flowing, offering discussion prompts, and occasionally bringing up something about life with autism that might...

This class is taught in English.

I am autistic woman and a social/sensory coach, helping autistic teens and their families find and remove the hidden barriers to success and build positive life experiences. I am also a certified teacher with several years of experience teaching middle and high school.

It is recommended for students to come to class prepared with a specific social situation in mind that they want to ask about. Messaging me questions before class is encouraged but never required. When there aren't specific questions, we can practice social skills by talking naturally about our lives and interests.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
