Class Experience

In this social club we will chat about student interests and other topics while exploring each others points of view, keeping conversation flowing with baiting questions, talk about hidden social cues, starting conversations and knowing when one is over. Students can develop communication skills while connecting and sharing with others with Autism in a supportive and inclusive environment. We will play some fun games of Would You Rather, What am I, Idioms, social problem scenarios. Student conversation will be highly encouraged with understanding of differences and abilities always considered by the teacher. Weekly posts of topics will be published in the classroom. Students are welcome to suggest topics as well.
