Informal observation of painting.Class Experience
This is a beginner level step by step instructional class on how to paint a gum-ball machine step by step! First we will set up our paint pallets. The teacher will help the students mix any needed colors. Students are always free to make color changes. Then we will draw our gum-ball machine on to our canvas or canvas paper. Next, students will learn how to apply paints to canvas and follow instructions in a fun group class with an instructor with years of both art and teaching experience. The instructor will help guide each student to success and the step-by-step process allows all students to walk away with a successful painting! While there is no right or wrong in art, we can always increase our skills through practice and knowledge of how to use the 'tools' we have available in art making. This will be a supportive environment for students to experiment and create their personal masterpieces. Learners are always free to make changes or add unique details to their masterpieces! As we paint, students will be able to ask questions, share progress with one another, and converse. Most students will be done by the end of class but some students may need some time after class to finish up. Everyone works at a different speed and it is better to take our time than to rush! No experience necessary just a positive attitude! *If this class interests your learner please sign up for the class. I'll take the slot and teach even if it's just one learner. I am excited to meet your learner!

Supply List
Canvas or canvas paper Acrylic or tempera paint Paint brush Cup of water Paper towel Pencil Eraser Pallet or paper plate *Table top easel is fine but not necessary. Painting flat on a table may be easier for some students. Please position ALL supplies close in reach on your easel or table. Depending on easel/table painting: Computer/device should be faced directly ahead for head-on viewing of the painting steps. This will ensure that the learner receives proper instruction in order to complete the painting.
External Resources
