This course can be adjusted to accommodate any special learning needs of the student.
Parental Guidance
PLEASE NOTE: This is an AP course and follows the guidelines of the College Board. To be fully prepared for the AP exam, it is recommended that the student conduct as many of the 16 labs as possible but they can watch and use the data from the teacher. Students should also do all assigned homework that will be assigned from a college level textbook. Parents should also monitor the students to make sure all tests are taken closed book for best results on the AP Exam.
Pre-Requisites
Students should have a basic knowledge of Chemistry and Scientific Measurements. This should not be the first high school chemistry course that a student takes for best performance on the exam.
