In this lesson young coders will learn how to animate characters in Scratch, the world's most popular programming language for children! The course is at a beginner level for children who have not used Scratch before. It is designed to introduce children to the wonderful world of programming! Agenda: The lesson will begin by introducing Scratch, how create a new project, name it and save it Coding concepts like events, conditions and loops will be discussed Children will learn how to choose, edit and animate their backgrounds and characters through step by step instructions Children will learn how to share their projects At Code Kids we pride ourselves on providing each child with the individual attention they deserve. We are a London (England) based team of engineers, coders and developers who specialise in hands on learning. Our approach is project based. We don't teach coding for the sake of coding. We engage the children in coding projects that have a goal that is aligned to the students' interests.
