US Grade 4 - 7
I will start class by having everyone introduce themselves and share an animal that they think is scary.. We will then proceed to learn about twelve different animals that are the cause of more human deaths than sharks along with facts like where they live, their habitat, whether they are herbivore, carnivore, or omnivore, etc. Each animal will be taught about through a slide show presentation along with a few short videos on a few of them. I will encourage discussion from the kids throughout the class. I don't want to spoil the fun, so I won't share all of the animals we'll be learning about but, I'm sure some will surprise you.

Hello, my name is Jacki, and I am thrilled that you have chosen me to be a part of your child's educational journey.
I have been a homeschooling mom for more than a decade and have taught other children, formally, in a classroom setting as well. I love to work with elementary-aged students in all subjects, including English, Science, Math, and History.
I have a passion for teaching! I believe that children learn best in a fun and entertaining environment, which is why you will often find me singing, dancing, and making a "fool" of myself.
I believe that every child is intelligent, it's my job, as a teacher, to bring that quality out into the open for everyone to see.
"Everybody is a genius. but if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid."
-Albert Einstien
In my spare time, you will find me traveling the world with my family. We have been to 48 U.S states and plan to travel abroad soon. I'm always up for an adventure.
