Beginner Level
During this 6-lesson course, *all* students will learn how to create simple but adorable animal drawings using basic shapes that will be sure to amaze their family and friends. The students will be shown a new animal to draw each lesson via a step-by-step video instruction posted by the teacher on Google Classroom (using the teacher code provided after the student enrolls in the course) where they will also find printable drawing instructions for the animal of the week. Please refer to the learning materials tab for a complete list of materials that you will need to make all the artwork featured in this course. *Enrolled students (not Subscription Families) will also be prompted to complete quizzes on STEM facts learned, write a comment about their favourite animal fact of the week, and interact with the teacher during the course by posting pictures of their completed artwork in the Outschool classroom page. *NOTE: Links to all coursework in Google Classroom and links to unpublished video instructions are provided in the appropriate lesson tabs. In the materials section below, you can find everything that you will need for this class. Parental supervision is advised, unless the student is already in a designated drawing "safe zone" (e.g. no possibility of drawing on furniture or walls).
