Hello to amazing animal friends! In this ongoing drawing class, beginner artists will learn how to sketch the shapes in animals, add details with a line drawing and finish with coloured pencil techniques. The students will follow my directed drawing lesson in a fun and supportive learning environment. We always start with a chat about our animal of the week, fun facts and sharing of ideas. I have my B.A. in Education with a visual arts specialty from the University of Toronto in Canada. My experience includes 20 years teaching in elementary classrooms from kindergarten to grade 8 and in online classes. My personal sketchbook is filled with nature drawings and anime cartoon illustrations. I love teaching young learners the artistic skills that bring their creative ideas to life!
