This one-time OR weekly private 1-on-1 class is perfect for young artists and animators who would like to develop their animation skills weekly at their own unique pace with guided instruction.
Class Experience
Beginner - Intermediate Level
Each meeting will begin with the learner briefly sharing any art they've completed on their own over the past week, that could be traditional or digital art [they are not required to do so, but many learners enjoy the opportunity to share their art!]. The learner will then be asked whether there are any specific skills or areas they would like to work on. We will then work on a project addressing that skill, learning a new skill, or refining / modifying a previous project (always by using...
iPad (fully charged) Procreate app ($12.99 in App Store; already downloaded and installed) Stylus (Apple Pencil = best; also fully charged) Separate device for joining the Zoom call (best). Procreate is only available on iPad. An alternative for Android users may be the app FlipaClip. This app comes with a free version. It’s recommended for learners to *purchase the full version to avoid popups.* Teacher specializes in Animation Assist on the Procreate app. Android users are welcome to join, if they are proficient in their chosen Animation software and are interested in practicing traditional animation techniques in the digital format of their choice!
