Class Experience

Students will learn how to classify animals into vertebrates and invertebrates. Students will learn what living and non-living things are and the characteristics for each classification of animals. Students should bring their stuffed animals, squinkies or any toys that can be classified as animals to class. Students will take turns choosing a toy for the class to classify. Classification of vertebrates and invertebrates will also be explored by looking at animal x-rays, sorting pictures into the right classifications and more! Come join the fun and learn more about the Animal Kingdom!
There is no background knowledge needed for this class.
There will be no homework assigned but some optional activities for further exploration will be uploaded to the classroom.
The learners' progress will be evaluated through fun play and classification!
