In this zoology class we will discuss animal habitats (homes) and the various adaptations that animals possess that help them to survive. Where an animal lives decides how they are specifically adapted to their habitat or environment. Students will meet a real animal that lives in the desert, the rainforest and in urban areas of the world. We will also discuss the continents and habitats of different continents. Please have your child research the definition of a habitat and adaptation before class so they are ready to participate in the discussions.
