Teacher expertise and credentials
I studied geography at a university in Canada and graduated with a geography degree. A large part of geography is learning how cultures have changed and we do this by studying what past civilizations lived like. Since many ancient civilizations were abandoned a lot of this learning was done by finding artifacts therefore artifacts and history have a large importance in studying geography today. I have studied artifacts intensively throughout my career as a geographer.
During my university career I studied history as well and learned a lot about this topic. This is a basic course and will only be an introduction to artifacts and ancient civilizations.
