Class Experience

In this 8-week course, learners will be instructed by a hard-of-hearing individual. This course will cover the basics of ASL, including ABCs, numbers, questions, and so much more. Since this course is a basics of ASL, no prior knowledge is needed to enroll in this course.

**However, it would be the most beneficial to have taken the first and second classes of this series! The class prior to this is my "American Sign Language (ASL) for Beginners (Part Two)" class.**

We will be covering:
Week 1 / Theme: Review from the second class of the series
Week 2 / Theme: More Action words (run, walk, etc.)
Week 3 / Theme: Sentences Introduction
Week 4 / Theme: Starting on Conversations
Week 5 / Theme: Finishing Conversations
Week 6 / Theme: How to write in ASL
Week 7 / Theme: Education, Career, and Communications
Week 8 / Theme: Review from the entire class

During class time, we will be introducing ourselves in American Sign language, then go over the course material for the day, ask questions about different signs, and then if there is time we will be able to play games like Kahoot! or Hang Man. In this course, it is important to keep your camera on and be attentive in this class. Since this is a class that will be teaching another language, I will ask all students to turn their cameras on and be present.

This is a class that is part of a Multi-Section series, so if you enjoyed this one, come back and take another!
