Does your student need a boost in confidence on their math or reading skills or just need to build a more firm foundation for math or reading? If so, this private tutoring course is for you.

This course is a one-on-one tutoring class that meets one time where students can focus on the specific math or reading skills they are struggling with whether that is money, multiplication, subtraction, addition, expanded form, base ten blocks, reading comprehension, fluency, vocabulary etc.  I will teach this tutoring session based on your child's academic needs and I will meet them where they are. In my classes I like to use a variety of way to learn- body movements, tangibles, and note taking. I feel that note taking is a vital life skill and use it primarily in class sessions.

Even though this is a one time class, it can build upon multiple classes.  

Since this session is based specifically on your child's needs, I will do a grade level pre/post test to determine their math deficits. This is to bridge the gap do that they are successful.
