All About Python: The Camp (Level III) for Beginners

Your student will learn how to code with Python, one of the world's most popular coding languages.  This is a highly interactive class with students encouraged to interact with other students and the instructor regularly. Your student will be amazed at what they can do at the end of camp and be excited to continue their coding journey.  Some projects we will complete include a pizza shop app and a space catcher game utilizing Pygame.

Build Fun Games and Projects with Python 

Over the course students will complete 4 projects with Python. These projects include:

Pizza Shop Project
Working with Files Project

These projects allow students to apply what they have learned with Python while building fun projects! 

Interactive Groups

Every student is strongly encouraged to post questions, sample code, and their projects every step of the way. This gives students the chance to learn from each other and start practicing reading code. The instructor will also be providing feedback and guidance daily throughout the course. 

The class is a supportive, positive, and fun environment for all students! 

Technology Requirements

Students will use Code with Mu, a free code editor designed specifically for beginners. Code with Mu requires any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer.
