In this thirty minute class, we will be playing an art game called, "Roll-an-Alien." In this class, I roll the dice on my game board and we create space aliens from each move on the board. All you need is a pencil, crayons or colored pencils and love of drawing. No drawing class experience necessary. Just come to class and have a great time playing this art game all together. When the class is over, you will have at least two completed aliens to turn into stick puppets or to add to any space scene you like.
Learning Goals
Students learn how to follow step-by-step instructions to create a piece of art work. They also learn that art can be a place to just have fun as well as be a place of creative expression. There is no wrong way to make an alien and hence, every completed character is a successful one. This kind of art builds confidence in children and introduces them to a creative outlet.

Supply List
Please bring a sharpened pencil, colored pencils or crayons and white paper or card stock to class.
