Calling All Space Dwarves: Let's Play Deep Rock Galactic!

Welcome to the intergalactic mining corporation! Deep Rock Galactic is a popular FPS (first-person shooter) where we will explore for resources, dig through mines, and battle hordes of deadly enemies. We must work as a team to survive the most hostile cave systems in the galaxy! Pick from 4 unique classes to mow through enemies as the Gunner, scout ahead and light up the caves as the Scout, chew through solid rock as the Driller, or support the team with defensive structures and turrets as the Engineer. 

Each session we will set out in search of adventure together. We will explore a network of procedurally generated cave systems filled with enemies to fight and riches to collect. There’s always something new to discover and no two playthroughs are alike.

We will be focused on cooperative play and having fun in the game. New players are welcome and encouraged to join! Learners must have purchased the game on Steam (the instructor has purchased it on Steam and cross-platform play is not supported outside of Steam) and have it downloaded and updated before class time. Learners must share their profiles with the instructor beforehand so we may all join the same party.
