Students will be given the opportunity to complete a project supervised by their parents outside of the Outschool classroom that will test their knowledge of Generative AI so that they gain a level of mastery.Class Experience
Beginner Level
- What will be taught? What AI is and how to get the most value out of some of the most popular free AI tools. - What topics will you cover? I will teach about the pros and cons of using artificial intelligence tools, different types of AI, a review of popular AI software, tools, and the most effective ways for students to use them. - How is your class structured? Anyone can drop into any session for instruction and guided practice using free Generative AI tools like ChatGPT. Since ChatGPT is not an approved 3rd party tool to use in an Outschool class, students will watch the instructor using it with inputs provided by students. - How will you teach? I will use a combination of lecture, demonstration, and active coaching with students during classes. - What's your teaching style? My style is conversational and customized for the students attending my classes. Learners will interact directly with me and learn through the use of lecture, interactive games, and discussion.

Parental Guidance
ChatGPT is not an approved tool by Outschool, therefore, the instructor will use it and share over Zoom with students. Students will have the opportunity to have hands-on practice using the tool via the instructor's account, so that they can come up with their own ideas for how to best use the tool.
