Money Matters for Teens is a comprehensive class that teaches teenagers about the fundamental principles of personal finance. They will learn about budgeting, saving, responsible money management, making wise purchasing decisions, avoiding debt, and investing. The class is designed to help teenagers to develop healthy financial habits and learn the skills they need to set themselves up for financial success in the future. The class covers a wide range of topics, including: - The value of money - Budgeting and saving - Making wise purchasing decisions - Responsible money management - Avoiding debt - Setting financial goals - Developing good financial habits How is your class structured? The class is structured to be interactive and engaging, with a mix of lectures, games, slides, video clips, and discussions. The class is divided into modules, each covering a specific topic. Students will have the opportunity to interact with the instructor and each other, ask questions, and participate in activities that reinforce the concepts taught in each module. How will you teach? The class will be taught using a variety of teaching methods, including lecture, group discussion, interactive activities, and multimedia presentations. The instructor will use real-life examples to illustrate key concepts and engage children in discussions to help them apply what they have learned. What's your teaching style? My teaching style is interactive and engaging. I use a variety of teaching methods to help students to understand complex financial concepts and make them relatable and understandable. I focus on creating a fun and safe learning environment where students can ask questions, share ideas, and actively participate in the learning process. How much will learners get to interact with you and each other? The class is designed to be highly interactive, with plenty of opportunities for students to interact with the instructor and each other. Any required experience or knowledge learners need? No prior experience or knowledge is required to take this class. It is designed for students who are just starting to learn about personal finance and want to develop good financial habits that will benefit them for life.

Parental Guidance
Students will get more value from the class if they have access to Google Sheets software (free) so that they can practice with the templates that the instructor will demonstrate. If a student wants to use their own version of Google Sheets then they will need a personal account set up for them by their parent or guardian before the class starts. However, the instructor will be sharing his screen so that students can follow along even if they don't have their own Google Sheets software and account.
