In this empowering course students will learn the essential skills and strategies to become an impactful advocate in their community, organization, or society. Advocacy is about more than just speaking up—it's about understanding issues deeply, framing your message effectively, and using communication to inspire action and create meaningful change. Course Objectives: Foundations of Advocacy: Understand the principles of advocacy and how it can influence change. Building Advocacy Toolkit: Learn how to research issues and craft a clear, compelling message that resonates with the audience. Strategic Communication: Be introduced to verbal, written, and non-verbal communication techniques, with an emphasis on active listening, and addressing counterarguments effectively.
