Addition Strategies - Single Digits to Double Digits

In this ongoing class, students will learn and practice efficient strategies to add to varying sums. This is a drop in class to meet the needs of a variety of learners. Students will learn to count on, use a number line, compensate, carry and regroup, and know the fact. 
Week of 3/14 Adding single digit numbers with a ten frame
Week of 3/21 Adding single and double digit numbers by counting on
Week of 3/28 Adding two digit numbers, adding using a number line
Week of 4/4 Adding 2 two digit numbers without regrouping
Week of 4/18 Adding mixed numbers with facts; using a number line
Week of 4/25 Student choice
Students may join at anytime, and we cycle back through the topics to hone our skills.
