CALLING ALL WITCHES AND WIZARDS! Greetings and welcome to the wizarding world of mathematics. In this one-time class, students will learn how to solve and master basic addition and subtraction story problems. Together as a class, we will read harry potter themed story problems, and learn the different ways to break the problems down, step by step. Afterwards, we will then solve the problems using multiple strategies. These strategies include using double ten frames, number lines, and drawing pictures. The story problems included in this lesson are geared more towards first, second, and third grade, however all learners are welcomed.

In this one-time class, students will learn how to solve and master addition and subtraction word problems using double ten frames, number lines, and drawing pictures.Other Details
