In this intensive flex class for older beginner-intermediate ESL learners, students will improve their English every day, appealing to their interests, age level, and English ability. I adjust the videos, depending on the students' levels.
Class experience
US Grade 2 - 4
Beginner Level
This flex class includes four weeks of fun videos from Monday to Friday to help kids of this age write and speak English. Besides basic phonics, I give older games, writing and storytelling activities, video clips, conversation topics, and pop songs, designed for the older beginner learner. Before this class, they should be able to write their letters and some basic words, but that is enough knowledge to start. This flex class also includes feedback. Students will learn all basic elements of English in this flex course and fix their most common mistakes.
Homework Offered
This flex class will take about 30 minutes five days a week for them to complete, but they can do as much as they like! If they have less time, it's no problem, they can do less.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
Students send me a package of videos and writing once a week and I respond within 48 hours.Grades Offered
They just need a notebook and a pen. All materials are provided!
There is no inappropriate content. I will use CANVA for all lessons. I will also use some kid appropriate YouTube videos for fun movie, television and music content, but these videos will be appropriate for kids 8-12 with no scary content. I also encourage them to use AI filters for fun videos to practice speaking.
