Welcome to 5th grade Fractions! In this 8 week course, we will talk all about fractions as well as mixed numbers. We will perform a fraction review before we build are fraction knowledge. This class will always start with a quick powerpoint about what we will be learning in class, then we will go over some examples together or work on a worksheet. - I can convert mixed numbers to improper fractions, and convert improper fractions to mixed numbers.
- I can solve word problems that require me to multiply fractions.
- I can multiply whole numbers by fractions.

I have been teaching Mathematics for the last 7 years to all grades. Fractions is one of my more popular lessons to be teaching. I am a certified Mathematics teacher pre-k through 12th.

I will supply curriculum and the materials that students will need! These can be printed at home if they wish but it will all be done on google docs! Students will just need a writing utensil and paper for this class!
