1:1 Phonics Intervention and Reading Support With a Licensed Educator

In this three week tutoring session, the student and I will be using a program called SIPPS (Systematic Instruction of Phonological Procedures and Sight Words).  This program matches the student at their current reading level using a mastery test, and allows the teacher to see exactly where they need support.  This program is researched based, and systematically trains the brain to become strong in reading.  

I will be using the extension level curriculum, which includes:
*Guided reading
*Sight words
*Phonemic awareness
*Reading mixed word lists (decoding and sound recognition)
*Guided Spelling
*Stories to read at home that correspond to our lessons

I am happy to work with children of all ages, but recommend this course for second graders, or third/fourth graders who have gaps in their reading. 

If your child knows all their letters, letter sounds, and are beginning to blend, this is the course for you!

If your child needs support with reading basics (CVC words, sight words, blending), this is the course for you!
