During this 30-minute one-on-one math tutoring class, students will participate in the following activities: ~Number talk - The topic will be based on the learner's homework or a grade-level/ age-appropriate math objective. Students will improve their understanding of mathematical concepts while developing more confidence for math class. They will be allowed to make mistakes and show their own way of working through math problems including developing a deeper comprehension of word problems.
For 30 years, I have tutored students in math from Preschool through College. I have been a certified teacher for the last 17 years and have shared research-based math strategies through in-person and live online classes. As a mindset coach, I have also helped hundreds of students develop the confidence to approach any math topic while working through their mistakes.
