Description
Class Experience
This class is taught in English.
Students will improve their understanding of mathematical concepts while developing more confidence for math class. They will be allowed to make mistakes and show their own way of working through math problems including developing a deeper comprehension of word problems.
For 30 years, I have tutored students in math from Preschool through College. I have been a certified teacher for the last 17 years and have shared research-based math strategies through in-person and live online classes. As a mindset coach, I have also helped hundreds of students develop the confidence to approach any math topic while working through their mistakes.
Learners will not receive additional homework from me unless requested.
Students may need the following supplies: ~Paper (A graphing notebook is best) ~Pencil ~Eraser ~Colored pencils
Learners will be assessed using the exit ticket at the end of the lesson.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
